While surface debris like dust, pollen, textile fibres, and hairs can easily be removed by sweeping or vacuuming, some types of dirt may adhere or become slightly embedded in the wood grain of your hardwood floor. This type of dirt is caused by daily activities and usually appears in high-traffic areas of the home.
However, walking on flooring over time can cause surface-level dirt to get embedded in the wood grain or the joints between the wood boards. Dirt buildup may be slightly more prevalent on textured hardwood floors as the wood grain is open. But generally, flooring with this type of dirt will appear faded and slightly discolored over most of its surface.
Still, not all dirt is caused by daily use. If you are renovating your home, renovation debris from construction materials may require a more powerful cleaning solution to restore your floor's pristine look.

Sweep or vacuum the entire room floor to remove dust and loose dirt.

Spray a small amount of Hardwood Floor Cleaner directly on the floor or the mop cover.

Use one side of the mop cover to scrub off the dirt and the other to wipe off the surface.

Ground-in dirt and stubborn stains may persist, especially in the character lines of the wood and the joints between the boards in high-traffic areas such as hallways, kitchens, living rooms, and dining rooms. This type of dirt blackens the lines and tends to discolor the flooring.

A powerful deep-cleaning solution ideal for when dirt becomes embedded over time and cannot be dislodged with KLEAN by mirage Hardwood Floor Cleaner. Removes ground-in dirt and stubborn stains to restore your floor's original color. This highly effective product is sulphate-free, phosphate-free, and EDTA-free.

Always use KLEAN by mirage Hardwood Floor Cleaner for your usual cleaning routine. The Reviver Hardwood Floor Cleaner is not intended for weekly use. Use only when necessary, and no more than once a year.

Gently brush the floor using a Mirage light bristle brush to remove dirt and sweep or vacuum the entire floor surface.

Spray a thin layer of Reviver Cleaner directly over the surface and leave the product on the floor for 30 to 60 seconds maximum.

Gently brush the floor lengthwise using the cleaned brush while the product is still on the surface to remove ground-in dirt.

Use one side of the mop cover to remove dirt and the other to wipe any remaining product off the surface. Always use a clean mop cover to ensure you remove all dirt.

Repeat steps 2 to 4 if your flooring is still dirty. After using the Reviver Hardwood Floor Cleaner, clean the entire floor surface with the Klean by mirage
Hardwood Floor Cleaner using a new, clean and dry mop cover. Be sure to follow the instructions available above.
