For subsequent steps, we recommend pairing TruBalance square nosings with TruBalance tread and riser planks for a simple installation process, regardless of the floor type you opt for on the lower staircase level.
Note that the flooring on the lower staircase level, excluding landings, has no impact on the stair cladding. It can vary in thickness and material, including other types of hardwood flooring, ceramic tiles, or even carpet.

When placing your order, make sure to account for the quantity required for your staircase. Also, when installing your Mirage flooring on the main level, set aside enough planks of the desired lengths to complete your staircase. Note that the 7" TruBalance Lite product boxes contain planks of assorted lengths.
