Sustainable Development
Once a tree is cut down, all parts of it are used. Ninety-five percent of each tree cut down is used to produce useful products such as lumber, plywood, wood chips, and sawdust. Even the bark is used for landscaping. The remaining 5% - the branches - are left in the forest to enrich the soil through natural biodegradation, which promotes regrowth. Interesting links
